Todd Stewart, D.D.S.

Dr. Todd Stewart, an eastern North Carolina native, attended East Carolina University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. While pursuing his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Stewart also earned a commission in the United States Army.

Upon graduation, he was stationed in central California where he performed his duties as a Lieutenant. After completing his tour of active military service, Dr. Stewart returned to school in pursuit of a career in dentistry.

He attended New York University where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1999. Afterwards, Dr. Stewart completed a General Practice Residency at a Veterans Hospital in Castle Point, New York. He then was granted privileges to work at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York where he treated staff and cadets before returning to North Carolina.

Dr. Stewart has practiced dentistry for over 20 years while continuing his military service as a member of the Army Reserves. While practicing in eastern North Carolina, he volunteered for a period of active-duty service in Iraq and upon completion of this tour, Dr. Stewart moved to Charlotte where he established his dental practice in 2010.

Dr. Stewart has accumulated hundreds of hours of continuing education to hone his current skills as well as staying abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Mecklenburg County Dental Society. When he is not volunteering serving his community, Dr. Stewart (a licensed pilot) enjoys flying, boating, and traveling.

Shirley Henderson, D.D.S.

Dr. Shirley Henderson, a California native, received her bachelor of science degree from San Jose State University. She then earned her doctorate degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She practiced several years in California before moving to North Carolina thirteen years ago with her family. She joined our practice in 2011, bringing more than 20 years of experience in general dentistry. She is proud to call North Carolina home and enjoys hiking, sight seeing around the state, reading and family activities.
